Smooth, raw, dreamy. Bit of country, bit of pop. like a hazy pink & blue sunset so arrestingly sweet that it
stops you in your tracks: you have no choice but to let it wash over you. Gentle yet scuzzy, or maybe just
gently scuzzy, his songs are country-tinged, but without pretense or posturing; they’re country by
happenstance, like the literal countryside. He sings as if he found the notes floating around in the sky, as
though he didn’t have to try very hard to find something very real and true
